RIVERSIDE COUNTY YOUNG REPUBLICANS
2010 PRIMARY ENDORSEMENTS
The Riverside County Young Republicans, the first and one of the only GOP organizations to endorse in a primary race recently held its 2010 endorsement session for the June primary and preceding special elections.
To receive an endorsement from the organization one must receive a majority vote from the members present. Any race where no candidates received 50% plus 1 resulted in no endorsement and will not be listed. The following are a list of endorsed candidates and statement of endorsement.
We urge all voters to research the candidates themselves in order to aid them in the democratic process. The democratic process is meaningless without knowledgable participation.

PRIMARY RUNNERS-UP
The following 2010 June Primary Candidates recieved the endorsement of the membership but did not overcome their challengers in the election. That being said, Paul Chabot ran a race with a strong conservative message, scores of volunteers and relatively few campaign dollars and managed to come in second, defeating the top funded candidate Rancho Cucamonga Mayor Don Kurth who placed third. Mike Morrell, a true conservative by all means did , win the GOP nomination for the 63rd Assembly seat and we have absolute confidence in his abilities to represent the Republican Party and his constituency as a true conservative leader. Congratulations to Mike Morrell on his victory, and Paul Chabot on a well fought campaign.
LT. Commander Paul Chabot - AD 63
Supervisor Jeff Stone ran a race for Senate where the majority of the district lay in San Diego County, relatively foriegn territory for a Riverside County Supervisor. But his title and reputation served him well and we congratulate him on a well and hard fought campaign. Current Assemblyman Joel Anderson did win the race for the 36th Senate District GOP nomination and is a well known and highly respected conservative. His compassion for his fellow human beings and dedication to conservative principles make for a fantastic combination of qualities that cleary position him as a conservative leader in the State Legislature. Congratulations!
