STATEWIDE BALLOT PROPOSITIONS
& LOCAL MEASURES
PROPOSITION 19 - OPPOSE
Proposition 19 would legalize the sale and purchase of Marijuana. Many local municipalities have bent under economic pressure and have sought to allow local pot dispensaries as a source of revenue. We must ask ourselves if additional tax revenue should be a deciding factor in allowing for what would increase accessability and habitual use by our youth? Tax revenue doesn't change right and wrong. The idea of statewide legalization would only amplify the catastrophe we have already witnessed in Los Angeles, across the state of California. The cultural disentigration would parallel Amsterdam which is a Saloon of a City. Vote NO on Proposition 19!
PROPOSITION 20 - SUPPORT
Proposition 20 is essentially an amendment adding Congressional Districts to Proposition 11 which passed in November 2008 and established a commission to redistrict California State Legislative Districts. Nancy Pelosi and California Democrats struck a deal in 2008 to not oppose proposition 11 as long as Congressional Districts were still allowed to be drawn by politicians to protect their incumbents. If this election cycle has had a theme, it has been that politics as usual is no longer acceptable. Vote YES on Proposition 20!
PROPOSITION 21 - OPPOSE
Proposition 21 would raise the Vehicle License Fee, further adding to the increased fee that Schwarzenegger originally opposed in his recall campaign and later overturned as a feeble attempt to address the State's growing buget deficit. Vote NO on Proposition 21.
PROPOSITION 22 - NO POSITION
The Good: Proposition 22 if passed would prevent the State Government from raiding local municipalities coffers maintaining more local control of resources.
The Bad: It would also give local municipalities and developers greater leverage and use of local eminent domain procedures undermining our right to property.
The Ugly: The choice is yours, vote no and the State may continue to raid local funds changing nothing. Vote yes and your home may become the future site of the next Jiffy Lube. Choose wisely.

PROPOSITION 23 - STRONGLY SUPPORT
Recently, our foolish liberal progressive lead State Legislature chose in its infinite wisdom to pass AB 32 which is a job killer aimed at opening the doors to fewer potential green jobs. Many Californians have been misled by this bill thinking it will replace jobs based on so called "polluting" industries with green jobs however, the reality is there is no garuantee that it will create any job or jobs for that matter. This goes against the grain of our free market and forces as of yet unprofitable industries upon us. Protect what little is left of our economy and vote YES on Propostion 23.
PROPOSITION 24 - OPPOSE
Proposition 24 would eliminate tax breaks that would undermine the razor thin margins of profitability many businesses have benefitted from in barely keeping their heads above water. Vote NO on Proposition 24.
PROPOSITION 25 - HELL NO, STRONGLY OPPOSE
Proposition 25 would eliminate the 2/3rds Prop 13 vote requirement by the legislature to raise taxes and pass a budget. If Proposition 25 passes, all the legislature will need is a simple majority to funnel taxpayer dollars into Union Political Action Committee's. VOTE NO ON PROPOSITION 25!
PROPOSITION 26 - SUPPORT
Proposition 26 would address the loophole used by the legislature to impose fees by a simple majority in loo of taxes, making it a 2/3rds requirement as well. This is a no-brainer, Vote YES on Proposition 26!
PROPOSITION 27 - OPPOSE
Proposition 27 would repeal the redistricting commission established by Proposition 11 taking redistricting out of the hands of self serving politicians. Vote NO on Proposition 27!
San Jacinto School Bond - OPPOSE
Vote NO on this bond meant to bilk taxpayers and benefit developers unnecessarily.
Measure L - OPPOSE
Measure L would allow for a local Union to wrestle for control of their own pension benefits, with or without the current economic crisis this idea is a disaster and parallels what's responsible for the calamity that befalls California as we speak. Vote NO on Measure L.
Measure M - SUPPORT
This retains the affirms the right of our Board of Supervisors to prevent taxpayer funded pension increases. Vote YES on Measure M!
